Our Urology/Andrology Clinic brings together a comprehensive, trustworthy and patient-focused urological care to diagnosis and treatment (medical and/or surgical) of male patients. HMFC features state of the art embryology and andrology laboratory facilities. Our laboratory is equipped with the latest technology to perform delicate procedures such as embryo culturing, intracytoplasmic sperm injection, laser assisted hatching and many others.
The embryology laboratory provides embryo, oocyte and sperm conservation and freezing for both fertile and infertile couples and also applies chemical activation in order to increase the chances of pregnancies in cases of low quality of eggs or sperms. Our andrology laboratory provides semen analysis for physicians throughout the area and have extensive experience evaluating the many subtle semen characteristics that can often signal male subfertility.
Having on-site operating rooms helps us to better serve our patients during their infertility treatments and also pregnancy. Genetic diseases are today known as one of the major among many reasons of miscarriage and infertility. This type of genetic counseling is an important part of infertility treatment in our center. In HMFC we apply advanced technology to evaluate the likelihood of a genetic cause for infertility. Two different approaches become routine: preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) and prenatal diagnosis (PND).

The clinical laboratory of Dr. M.H.Shahidi, located on the first floor of Dr. Shahidi’s medical center is affiliated with Hazrat Maryam infertility Center and runs all required diagnostic and medical tests with a high precision in a short time.
The natural fertility depends on several factors. If one or more of these factors are missing or disrupted, the chances of a normal pregnancy is decreased or totally lost. In those cases, ART (Assisted Reproductive Technologies) will help infertile couples to overcome most of these problems.
