Clinical Services

The Center currently features a total of 583 beds, comprising 117 CCU beds, 93 ICU beds for adults and pediatrics, 60 Post-CCU beds, 32 Post-ICU beds, 134 Adult Cardiac Ward beds, 46 Pediatric Ward beds, 87 Cardiovascular Surgery Ward beds for Adults and pediatric.

The Center also boasts a 14-bed Emergency Ward, 13 Operating Rooms, a 7-room Adult Interventional Catheterization Laboratory, a 2-room pediatric Interventional Catheterization Laboratory, and a 5-room Electrophysiology Study Ward.

On average and daily, there are 92 hospitalizations, 30 surgical operations, 50 catheterization laboratory procedures including PCI, PTMC, PTPC, ASD, VSD, PDA closure, TAVI, and many other interventional procedures, and 23 electrophysiology procedures.

Deputy of Education

• Planning for the enhancement of the center’s quality of medical education within the framework of the center’s policies and programs
• Augmenting the capabilities of the center’s faculty members in the fields of educational planning, testing, teaching methodologies, research, and clinical education management
• Guiding the center’s educational committees and wards in the fields of the revision of educational programs, the implementation of novel pedagogical methods, the continuous monitoring of the factors influencing the quality of education, and the provision of related authorities with necessary feedback 
• Conducting research projects on clinical education in collaboration with the center’s wards and educational committees
• Furnishing the center’s Education Deputy Director with counseling and suggestions concerning the adoption of effective strategies vis-à-vis the quality of medical education

International Patient’s Department (IPD)

SRCMRC has a separate department for serving international patients, which aims to help international patients facilitate the process of receiving medical care in this center. In addition to hospitalization services, this department is also capable of providing other clinical and para-clinical services for international patients including consulting on neurological diseases, lung diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, and so on.

SRCMRC has recently been awarded the title “Center of Excellence in Cardiovascular Medicine” by the Iranian Ministry of Health and Higher Education in recognition of the state-of-the-art equipment and cutting-edge treatment modalities that the Center offers through its highly qualified medical and non-medical personnel.
