Built in 1967 on the western edge of Tabriz, as a tourist guesthouse. In 1980 the building was turned into a general surgery hospital and therapeutic activities were performed. In 1983, it was a gynecology and obstetrics hospital with 105 beds. Later in 1994, it was transformed into a therapeutic educational center under Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. Since 1384 to optimally use human and financial resources, according to the requirements of the university's policy, in addition to gynecology and obstetrics, it has become a general center with a capacity of 130 active beds. Taleghani Hospital, with 132 active beds along with 9 active wards, a neonatal intensive care unit, an ICU, and a Corona ward, is responsible for maintaining and improving the health of all patients The use of appropriate facilities and equipment and a human approach is professional and worthy. This center carries out its responsibility in the form of preventive, therapeutic, and educational services concerning the promotion of natural childbirth, especially painless childbirth, and is known as a model hospital in the country.
